§ 15.01.020. Transfer of traffic ordinances to traffic regulations code.

(a)

All ordinances previously codified in the chapters of Title 15 listed in Section 15.01.010 above, are hereby transferred to the County Traffic Regulations Code ("TRC"), and shall be codified in the Traffic Regulations Code with the same force and effect as if they were still codified in Title 15 of the county code. Each said section transferred to the TRC shall retain the same section number it had when it was part of Title 15 of this code. Any references in this County Code to any of the chapters or sections being transferred to the TRC shall hereafter be deemed to refer to the TRC.

(b)

Sections of Title 15 which are not transferred to the TRC may nonetheless be copied into the TRC so that the TRC can serve as a general source of County traffic ordinances and resolutions.

(c)

Pursuant to County Code Section 2.18.030, any references in the TRC to the county road commissioner shall refer to the director of public works and transportation, or a registered civil engineer acting under the direction of the director.
