§ 15.710.050. Schedule of civil penalties for unlawful vehicle standing, parking, registration, or equipment.

Any violation, occurring within the jurisdiction of San Luis Obispo County, of any regulation governing the standing, parking, registration, or equipment of a vehicle under the California Vehicle Code, any federal statute or regulation, or any ordinance enacted by local authorities, shall be subject to the following penalty schedule and shall be collected as a civil penalty:

^A  Fee has been adjusted to include mandated surcharges allowed by the State of California and previously adopted by resolution of the board of supervisors. The board has delegated the authority to the auditor-controller to periodically adjust the penalty amounts for pass through mandated charges.

^B  Fee reflects the amount established in the uniform bail and penalty schedule as adopted by the judicial council.

^C  Equipment and registration violations are reduced pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 40225(c) if proof of correction is provided within twenty-one days from the issuance of the citation.
