§ 16.10.020. Definitions.

(a)

Wherever the word "jurisdiction" is used in the California Fire Code, it shall mean the unincorporated territory of the County of San Luis Obispo protected by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection/San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.

(b)

Wherever the phrase "Building Department" is used in the California Fire Code, it shall mean the San Luis Obispo County Department of Planning and Building.

(c)

Wherever the phrase "Chief of Police" is used in the California Fire Code, it shall mean the Sheriff of San Luis Obispo County.
