§ 24.12.130. Lost and unclaimed personal property—Other than aircraft.

(a)

All persons shall comply with California Civil Code Section 2080 by turning over lost or unclaimed property to the director of airports.

(b)

Lost and unclaimed property determined by the director of airports to have a value of one hundred dollars or more shall, within a reasonable time, be turned over to the county sheriff's department as required by California Civil Code Section 2080.1.

(c)

The director of airports shall establish policy for the handling of lost and unclaimed property determined by the director of airports to have a value of less than one hundred dollars.
