§ 24.20.170. Taking aircraft into custody.

  • The director of airports may take into custody any abandoned, unclaimed or unauthorized aircraft, and thereafter he/she shall retain custody thereof until claimed by the lawful owner or owners who shall pay all expenses incurred by the director of airports in connection therewith. Aircraft not claimed within ninety days may be sold provided the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, Sections 1208.61 through 1208.70, inclusive, have first been complied with.
