§ 24.28.030. Permits for nonexclusive operating rights and the use of real property.

  • (a)

    The director of airports is authorized on behalf and in the name of the county of San Luis Obispo, to issue, reissue, suspend, revoke or terminate permits for nonexclusive operating rights at the airports and/or for the use of real property at the airports subject to the following limitations:

    (1)

    The actual monthly rental for the use of the real property, which is the subject of the permit, shall not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars;

    (2)

    The permittee shall pay the rates and charges established by the board of supervisors for any operating right;

    (3)

    The term of the permit shall not exceed the period of one year;

    (4)

    The permit shall be subject to immediate suspension and/or revocation where the permittee is in violation of the terms and conditions of the permit or any rule or regulation pertaining to the airports, including any provision of this title.

    (b)

    The director of airports shall determine what administrative fee shall be charged to issue or reissue a permit under this section, and shall determine what amount of insurance shall be required to be carried by the permittee.

    (c)

    The director of airports is further authorized to include in any permit issued under this section provisions which protect the county and the public health, safety, and welfare in the conduct of permittee operations and uses at the airports.

    The form of all permits issued by the director of airports shall have been approved by the county counsel.
