§ 2.08.010. Office and department created.

Pursuant to Article XI, Section 1(b) of the California Constitution and Section 24000 of the Government Code, the county office of county administrative officer is created. The office shall be filled by appointment by the board of supervisors at a salary to be set by the board of supervisors. The county administrative officer shall head the department of administrative management and shall serve at the will and pleasure of the board.
