§ 2.10.030. Duties of personnel director.

  • (a)

    The personnel director shall generally advise, assist, and be responsible to the county administrator for the proper and efficient management of the county's personnel programs.

    (b)

    The personnel director shall administer the civil service system pursuant to the rules adopted by the civil service commission and shall:

    (1)

    Advise the commission on civil service matters and changes in civil service rules;

    (2)

    Serve as secretary to the civil service commission.
