§ 2.14.030. Duties of director of child support services.

  • The director of child support services shall generally advise, assist, and be responsible to the board of supervisors for the proper and efficient administration of the county's child support services program and shall:

    (1)

    Plan, organize and direct the activities of the department of child support services;

    (2)

    Implement and supervise all activities of the department which are mandated by state and federal statutes, rules and regulations, including establishment and enforcement of child support obligations;

    (3)

    Represent the county before public and private groups, professional associations and public agencies in matters related to child support services;

    (4)

    Supervise the preparation and administration of the child support services budget; and

    (5)

    Such other duties as are set forth by statutes and this code or as may be authorized by the board of supervisors.
