§ 2.18.030. Abolition of road commissioner and transfer of duties.

  • In accordance with Streets and Highways Code Section 2006.1, the office of county road commissioner is abolished and all duties of the road commissioner are transferred to the director of public works and transportation. The director of public works and transportation shall not be required to have any special permit, registration or license. Any civil engineering functions which are required to be performed by the road commissioner shall be performed by a registered civil engineer acting under the authority of the director of public works and transportation.
