Chapter 2.22. DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND BUILDING |
§ 2.22.030. Duties of director of planning and building.
The director of planning and building shall generally advise, assist and be responsible to the board of supervisors for the proper and efficient administration of the department of planning and building. The director of planning and building shall more specifically be responsible for:
(1)
The performance of those duties set forth in Sections 19.01.100 (the Building and Construction Ordinance—Administration) and 22.01.040 (Administration of the Land Use Ordinance) and 23.01.040 (Administration of the Coastal Zone Land Use Ordinance) of this code;
(2)
The administration of Title 20 (Street Address Ordinance) and Title 21 (Real Property Division Ordinance) of this code;
(3)
The administration of the San Luis Obispo County General Plan and the development and administration of other land use planning policies and programs for the county pursuant to the direction of the board of supervisors;
(4)
The maintenance and updating of the county solid waste management plan in accordance with state law;
(5)
The performance of such other duties as may be specified by this code or as may be directed by the board of supervisors.
