§ 2.44.120. Rest breaks.

(a)

Except as otherwise provided by law, all employees of the county shall be entitled to one fifteen-minute rest break for each four hours worked.

(b)

Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to prevent the board of supervisors or department heads from so scheduling individual employee's rest breaks so as to provide for the proper and efficient administration of the department's functions.
