§ 2.52.020. Contract specifications.

This board will enter into a master group insurance contract with any insurance company duly authorized to transact health and accident insurance business in the State of California, in a form satisfactory to the board, when fifty percent of the officers and employees of the county request in writing coverage under such a contract be entered into. Any such contract entered into shall provide the following benefits for those officers and employees who apply for them:

(1)

Sickness and accident insurance benefits;

(2)

Hospitalization insurance benefits;

(3)

Surgical operation benefits;

(4)

Accidental death and dismemberment insurance benefits.
