All of the territory included within the following described boundaries shall be in
the second judicial district:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 6 of the Rancho Pecho y Islay, as subdivided
by H. C. Ward, April, 1880 and recorded in the office of the recorder of San Luis
Obispo County, California in Map Book "B" at page 86, being on the line of ordinary
high water of the Pacific Ocean and running thence northeasterly along the northwest
line of Lot 6 of said Rancho to the most northerly corner of Lot 6; thence easterly
along the south line of Lots 4 and 5 of said Rancho Pecho y Islay, to the southwest
corner of Section 1, Township 31 South, Range 10 East, M.D.B. and M.; thence, continuing
easterly along the south lines of Section 1, Sections 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Township 31
South, Range 11 East, and Sections 6 and 5, Township 31 South, Range 12 East, M.D.B.
and M., to a point on the southwest line of the Ranchos Canada de los Osos and La
Laguna, surveyed by James T. Stratton May, 1868 and recorded in Map Book "A" at page
83, records of said county; thence, along said southwest line to the most westerly
corner of Lot 59 as shown on said Stratton Map; thence, northeasterly along the northwest
line of last said Lot 59 and continuing across Los Osos Valley Road and along the
northwest line of Lot "CC" of the Resubdivision of Lots 58, 61, 62, 63, 64 and 65
of Stratton's Subdivisions of the Canada de los Osos and La Laguna Ranchos, according
to the map recorded in Map Book "A" at page 161 in the office of the recorder of San
Luis Obispo County to the most northerly corner thereof; thence, northwesterly, along
the southwesterly line of Lot DD of last said resubdivision to the most westerly corner
of said Lot DD; thence, northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot DD
to the most northerly corner thereof; thence, southeasterly, along the northeasterly
line of said Lot DD to the stone monument on the westerly city limits line shown on
the Map of San Luis Obispo by Hubert C. Ward, filed in the office of the county recorder
June 24, 1882; thence, north along said city limits line shown on said map to a point
on the easterly prolongation of the south line of the 10 acre parcel described in
the deed to Nellie Penman recorded in Volume 119 of Official Records at page 494,
records of said county; thence, west along said prolongation and along said south
line to the southwest corner of said 10 acre parcel; thence, north, west, northwest,
northeast, northerly and northeast, along the westerly city limits line to a point
on the centerline of Foothill Boulevard; thence, along the centerline of said boulevard
to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 440 feet westerly off the east
line of Section 21, Township 30 South, Range 12 East, M.D.B. and M.; thence, north along said city limits line and
along said line drawn parallel to and 440 feet westerly off the east line of said Section 21 to a point on the south line of the northeast ¼ of the southeast ¼ of said Section 21; thence, west along said south line to the southwest corner of the northeast ¼ of
the southeast ¼ of said Section 21; thence north along the west line of said northeast ¼ of the southeast ¼ to the northwest
corner thereof; thence, east along the north line of the southeast ¼ of said Section 21 to a point on the east line of said Section 21; thence, north along the east line of said Section 21 to the northwest corner of the southwest ¼ of the northwest ¼ of Section 22, Township 30 South, Range 12 East; thence, east along the north line of said southwest ¼ of the
northwest ¼ of Section 22 and along the easterly prolongation thereof to a point in the southwesterly right-of-way
line of California State Highway (V-SLO-56-D) as shown on Sheet 260, in State Highway
Map Book filed for record in the office of the recorder of the County of San Luis
Obispo, California; thence, northwesterly along said highway right-of-way line, as
shown on Sheets 260, 261, 262 and 263 of said State Highway Map Book to its intersection
with the north-south centerline of Section 16, Township 30 South, Range 12 East, M.D.B. and M.; thence, north along said centerline of Section 16 to the northwest corner of Lot 2, of said Section 16 on the southerly line of Rancho Potrero de San Luis Obispo; thence along said southerly
rancho line, easterly to the southeast corner of Lot 7 of the Rancho Potrero de San
Luis Obispo according to the map of the partition of said rancho, filed for record
in Map Book "A" at page 171 records of said county; thence, northerly along the east
line of Lots 7, 6 and 5 of said Rancho Potrero de San Luis Obispo to a point on the
southerly line of Lot 4 of said rancho; thence, southeasterly to the most southerly
corner of said Lot 4; thence, northerly along the east line of Lots 4, 3 and 2 of
said rancho to the northeast corner of Lot 2 of said rancho on the north boundary
of the Rancho Potrero de San Luis Obispo; thence, easterly along said north boundary
to a point on the east line of Section 3, Township 30 South, Range 12 East; thence, northerly along the east line of said Section 3 and
the east line of Section 34, Township 29 South, Range 12 East to its intersection with the Summit of the Santa Lucia Range
of Mountains; thence, northwesterly and northerly, along the Summit of the said Santa
Lucia Range to its intersection with the northeasterly line of Section 31, Township 28 South, Range 12 East, M.D.M and the southwesterly line of Atascadero Colony; thence,
northwesterly along said southwesterly line of Atascadero Colony about 2 ½ miles to
the most westerly corner thereof; thence, northeasterly along the westerly line of
said Atascadero Colony about ¾> mile to the Summit of said Santa Lucia Range; thence,
northwesterly along the summit of said range to its intersection with the southerly
line of Section 34, Township 27 South, Range 10 East, M.D.M.; thence, west about 1 ½ miles along the southerly line
of a portion of said Section 34 and along the southerly line of Section 33 to the
southwest corner of Section 33; thence, north along Section lines about 2 ¼ miles
to its intersection with the Summit of the Santa Lucia Range; thence northwesterly
along the summit of said range to its intersection with the northerly boundary line
of San Luis Obispo County; thence, west along said northerly boundary line to its
intersection with the ordinary high water line of the Pacific Ocean; thence, southeasterly
along the ordinary high water line of the Pacific Ocean to the point of beginning.
