§ 2.84.031. Compensation for vehicle use.

From time to time, the rate of compensation for use of private vehicles on county business shall be determined by resolution of the board of supervisors, unless otherwise provided in an approved memorandum of understanding:
(1)

The county administrative officer in consultation with the purchasing agent and county auditor shall make recommendations to the board of supervisors concerning said rate of compensation.

(2)

Said rate of compensation shall be on a per mile basis, and shall be reflective of the reasonable cost of fuel and operation for the average motor vehicle.
