§ 5.04.080. Penalties.
Pursuant to County Code Chapters 1.04 and 1.08 and Government Code Section 25132, any person, firm or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating any provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor or infraction as specified herein and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine, if a misdemeanor, of not more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for a term of not more than six months, or by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars, if an infraction. Such person, firm or corporation shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm or corporation, and shall be punished as provided in this section. The remedies provided under this section shall be cumulative and not exclusive. For purposes of this section, a bail forfeiture shall be deemed to be a conviction of the offense charged.
