§ 5.08.010. Mosaic indexed seed.

If it unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to plant any lettuce seed in the unincorporated area of the county which has not been mosaic-indexed.

"Mosaic indexed seed" means seed which does not carry more than one-tenth of one percent of seedborn mosaic virus and which is so labeled.
