§ 6.04.170. Transient merchants, itinerant merchants, and itinerant vendors.

"Transient merchants," "itinerant merchants," and "itinerant vendors" mean any person,
whether as owner, agent, consignee, or employee, whether or not such person is a resident
of the county, who engages in a business of selling and delivering goods, wares, and
merchandise within the county; who, in furtherance of such purposes, temporarily hires,
leases, uses, or occupies any type of room, building, structure, street, alley, or
other place within the county for the exhibition and sale of such goods, wares, and
merchandise, either privately or at public auction.
