§ 6.12.040. Fees.

  • (a)

    Every person, firm, association, or corporation filing an application to conduct or carry on a business of any kind anywhere in the unincorporated areas of the county, which is not otherwise exempt under Section 6.08.010 of this title, may be required to pay a fee at the time of application. The application fee shall be established by board resolution or ordinance.

    (b)

    Every person, firm, association, or corporation conducting or carrying on a business of any kind anywhere in the unincorporated areas of the county, which is not otherwise exempt under Section 6.08.010 of this title, shall obtain a general business license and shall pay an annual fee, which is established by board resolution or ordinance.

    (c)

    Businesses requiring a special license type may be subject to additional fees as established by board resolution or ordinance.
