§ 7.08.010. Use or discharge restrictions.

  • It is unlawful to discharge, to use, sell, have, keep, store, shoot off, or explode, within the county, any firecrackers, sky rockets, torpedoes, Roman candles, fire balloons and any and all fireworks or substances designed or intended for pyrotechnic display, and all pistols, canes, cannons and other appliance using blank cartridges; save and except such of the above as may be sold under the provisions of the laws of the state and such other fireworks as are hereinafter provided. Public pyrotechnic displays and the use of fireworks for such purposes may be permitted at such times and places as the board of supervisors may direct or permit under the supervision of the county fire warden.
